About

LaUrence Renzo Verbeck

Laurence Renzo Verbeck is a San Francisco-based sculptor and architect. Renzo began sculpting as a teenager, finding inspiration and materials in the woods of upstate New York. He moved to Colorado for college and worked in construction to support himself through college and his early years as an architect. Inspired by the energy of his natural surroundings, he made Colorado his home and foundation for his career as an architect, designer, and sculptor. Renzo moved to California to build the Empyrean Temple at Burning Man in 2022, and now makes his home in the Bay Area. He maintains a deep passion for contemporary art and design, incorporating simple, clean lines and diverse materials, techniques, and concepts into his work.
